It was much easier to mold to her mouth then the standard mouthguards you can buy. She said it fits better and does not cut into her gums. We have noticed that it stays in her mouth better and she can actually talk with it in and you can understand her. This is the only mouthguard we will be purchasing from now on. 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful: By A Sanders (Florida) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Shock Doctor Youth Gel Max Strapless Mouthguard (Sports) Purchased for my 6 yr old daughter for karate. Not only was it affordable, it is pink (available in many colors). Better, it fit very comfortably, both for overall size/fit and molded easily and well. It is also easy to refit when she loses teeth or gets new ones (normally, --not from karate; I think that would have made a bad review). I have the same one, adult sized. The gel really makes a perfect fit, and the whole thing is very flexible. 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful: By Edog (Sacramento, CA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Shock Doctor Youth Gel Max Strapless Mouthguard (Sports) Great price point for a mouthpiece that my kids have to use for football. These cost $20 at Sports Authority. They're also a little tougher for them to chew through since my boys think these are meant to be chew toys! The cheaper ones barely last a season. |
