This is a great helmet! It has the guts of a ION 4D without the added weight and price. I was able to buy one size bigger for my son and inflate the helmet from the 2 locations to give it a proper fit. So he should be able to wear this one for a few years. It's funny that some coaches will complain about the expense (the same ones that will buy $200 composite baseball bats). But can you put a price on added safety? Of course it will not prevent all concussions but I think it would be a huge improvement over the foam padded helmets. Plus, these are way more comfortable.
