Football runs in Larry Johnson's blood. The son of Larry Johnson Sr. and brother of Tony Johnson Larry enjoyed great success at Penn State University before being selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2002 NFL Draft. He initially played in the shadow of Priest Holmes but is quickly coming into his own and in 2005 rushed for 100-plus yards in nine consecutive games. It is widely expected that when the whistle blows to begin the 2006-07 season Johnson will be the team's featured running back.
